Before fitting your sink with a suitable mixer tap, you need to clarify where the hot water for the sink actually comes from. As a rule in Germany for example, the hot water is connected to the mains water supply in the house. In this case a high pressure mixer tap is the right choice.

Simply takes the pressure out of the situation

In certain exceptional cases, the hot water is supplied from a boiler or hot water storage tank. Then, a low pressure kitchen tap may be necessary to reduce the water pressure from the mains before the water flows into the boiler for heating.
